NATIONAL SENIOR BOWLING ASSOCIATION
Joe Krajenke of Clinton Township won his second National Senior Bowling Association title with a 199-168 victory over Dave Tulak of Taylor at Westland Bowl in Westland.
Krajenke qualified second and had wins over Rick Vittone of Canada 237-200, Bob Frink of Washington 279-258 and Kevin Scott of Ferndale 190-152 en route to the championship match. Krajenke took home the top prize of $1,000.
Tulak qualified fifth. His victories were over Ed Peart of Southfield 228-211, Jim Rock of Kalamazoo 243-198 and Bill Haynes of Rochester Hills 244-166. Tulak earned $500.
Local cashers were Bill Haynes of Rochester Hills for $220, Kevin Scott of Ferndale $220, Ed Peart of Southfield $110, Mike McCleskey of Southfield $110, Phil Horowitz of West Bloomfield $90 and Ken Kossick of Commerce $90.
